*whew* Ok, so I'm home and caught up on my reading list (but not so much with the comments). And Shadow was awesome while I was gone, so now I get to be all fangirly and enraptured by the new chapter, just a day or two late. (BTW, she's posted the full translation to her site this time, rather than a summary.) ( spoilers! )

This is obviously just me passing on info to anyone who hasn't heard, but the current theory now is that next chapter is NOT the final chapter of Fruits Basket. (Apparently the banners on this chapter make no mention of it ending, and chapter 131 would fill out vol. 22.) *crosses fingers*

This chapter's definitely more about peeling back layers and resolving things clearly than it is about subtlety. Lots of interesting stuff in here. ^^ This is all to do with the main events in the chapter--depending on what's said, may post a bit more when the Kisa and Hiro material is translated, but I may have already said everything I want to ( Read more... )

Assuming all of the volumes are going to continue to be six chapters (except vol. 9), this starts volume 20. Is it really going to be only three or five more total? ;_; Once again, things are rushing together . . .
